Built over the majestic river Thames, the bridge stretches from London to Southwark and was constructed in 1967. As it has become a top tourist spot, you’d want to purchase tickets beforehand to avoid inconveniences and waiting. An adult ticket would cost £11.40, students and senior citizens cost £8.60 and of course, children under 5 are free. While planning to visit London Bridge, check the opening hours which are 09:30 – 18:00 hours.

The Tower Bridge

Did you even visit London Bridge if you skipped Tower Bridge? Being one of the most interesting parts of this bridge, the tower was built in the late 19^th century and has been an elegant landmark for London ever since. You can also get yourself a ticket and visit the engine room inside the tower to learn about the mechanics of the bridge. London Bridge is the most fascinating place for the tourists and it’s very close to the budget hotels in Kensington, London.

The Shard

Another one of London’s remarkable beauties is this glass pinnacle standing tall within the metropolis’s skyline. This beautiful structure was built in 2009 and is 300 meters tall, making it the country’s tallest building. The incredible view of tiny London from its 72^nd floor is a sight to remember. Not only is the view great but the food here is absolutely delightful. Ting, in the Shangri La Hotel on the 32^nd floor, offers an amazing high tea, something you would enjoy while admiring the stupendous view!

The Shard goes by tickets, and an adult ticket would cost £32 (on the spot), but with 2 weeks of advanced booking, you can get the tickets at £24.

The Bridge Theatre

The recent build has added great value to the London Bridge. Opened in 2017, the theatre has managed to make its way to the top. From presenting classic Shakespeare plays to making room for contemporary modern art, this theatre has done it all. It specializes in interactive performances which makes the audience love it even more.

The Borough Market

The best food place in London - HANDS DOWN – This market is considered to have the freshest produce in all of London. The Borough takes pride in being the oldest-standing market in London since the 12^th century and still continues to rank at the top. You can take a direct tube for Borough Market from Park City Grand Plaza Kensington hotel in central London. This market is a great spot for learning about London’s authentic cuisine and street foods. Moreover, you would also find a number of restaurants serving food from different cuisines around the world. Truly, a foodie’s heaven!
